Who to contact about adopting a pug ... ?

If you are looking to adopt a pug you will need to fill out our adoption application first!  Then contact via email the foster family listed for more detailed information pertaining to the pug you are interested in. It's an online easy process and can be found here:

Adoption Application

This application does not qualify or disqualify you for adoption.

The following guidelines have been established to speed up the placement process.
  1. To submit an application you need to either request one to be US Postal mailed to you or fill it from the link above.  It is essential that we have a name AND phone# of your Veterinarian that can verify that your current and/or past pets meet our policy requirements.
  2. In order to be considered for one of the animals in our program; it is our policy that your other animals be spayed or neutered, current on all vaccines including rabies, parvo, distemper, and are on a heartworm preventative.  We do not require fenced in yards in our program unless a certain pug requires it.
  3. For your convenience include all questions and comments at the end of the application.  The foster parent will contact you after they have reviewed your application.

Please remember that we are a volunteer organization.   All of our volunteers have full time jobs, families, etc. and use their free time to check emails and get your application processed.  If you haven't heard from us within 2 weeks, please check our website to see if the animal in question has already been adopted or contact us through email admin@pugrescuenc.org
